The Lien Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Lien Manager and ensuring the successful coordination and execution of lien-related activities within the clinic. This position is responsible for assisting with the monitoring of other lien specialists, facilitating smooth clinic operations related to lien cases, and promoting a high level of service to patients and legal partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Case Intake & Documentation :
Assist with managing lien case inquiries and intake processes, ensuring all required information is collected accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and process lien intake packets, ensuring all necessary documents are complete and compliant.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date records for all patients and lien cases.
- Scheduling & Coordination :
Schedule patient appointments in coordination with clinical and administrative staff.
- Confirm and verify documentation prior to appointments, ensuring timely follow-up with patients or legal representatives as needed.
- Medical Records & Billing :
Draft medical records and billing documents accurately and in accordance with legal and clinic guidelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of records and bills to appropriate parties, including attorneys and insurance companies.
- Communication & Liaison :
Serve as a point of contact between patients, legal representatives, and clinic staff, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
- Support outreach efforts to develop and maintain strong relationships with legal professionals and enhance the clinics lien network.
- Team Support & Monitoring :
Support the Lien Manager in monitoring and guiding other lien specialists to ensure consistent quality, compliance, and workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve case issues, improve processes, and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications :
- Experience in medical, legal, or lien-related administrative roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical records software.
- Spanish-English Bilingual Preferred
