Lift Operator

BASIC FUNCTION                                                                  Lift Operators are responsible for daily operation of all on-mountain lifts in a safe manner.

Focus on job safety and use of personal protective equipment is required.

Lift operators are front line employees with constant guest contact and directly impact the guest experience.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES                                        Daily operation of all lifts Operation of all lift systems Upkeep and cleanliness of all lift terminal buildings Lift corral set-up and tear-down Ticket checking Ensure all safety regulations are followed Snow removal Maintain loading and unloading areas to specification Loading and unloading of chairs / carpet Positively interacting with guests and staff Assist with other projects or duties as assigned                                                                                 SUPERVISION RECEIVED                                                            Direction is received from the Lift Operations Manager QUALIFICATIONS                                                                  -Must be 18 years of age or older Lift Operators must be :

• Safety focused Positive attitude an guests / staff interaction Use PPE when required Lift up to 50 pounds Stand for long periods of time Work in adverse outdoor environments throughout the entire year Able to learn the controls and operation of lifts Able to focus on lift operation while on duty At Ragged Mountain we work as a team, flexing with the business and team needs.
