As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc (CEC), you'll work on civil and environmental engineering projects primarily associated with solid waste facilities. These projects will involve completing engineering tasks such as airspace, excavation, and fill volume calculations, preparation, review and compilation of technical reports, data management, technical analysis of collected data, stormwater management system design, landfill grading, and leachate and landfill gas collection system design. You will also perform field work, including Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) of landfill cell and cap construction projects. You will Interact with CEC office and field staff, clients and contractors. Your effort will be part of the overall completion of landfill design, construction and certification projects. Your time will be split between the office and field.

B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field;
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and through writing;
• Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks;
• E.I.T. certification; and
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HydroCAD or other computer modeling software.
