POSITION SUMMARY :
The Merchandising Operations Associate plays a critical role in supporting the end-to-end Go-to-Market (GTM) process for the merchandising team. This role ensures cross-functional alignment, operational excellence, and flawless execution of seasonal launches. Acting as the connective tissue between merchandising, product development, planning, and marketing, the associate will streamline workflows, maintain key calendars and tools, and ensure milestones are met on time.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSTENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Go-To-Market Process Support
Maintain and track the GTM calendar, ensuring deadlines and milestones are visible to all cross-functional partners
Coordinate seasonal checkpoints and meetings, capturing next steps and ensuring follow-through across teams
Support the operational readiness of seasonal launches by ensuring marketing, planning, and merchandising teams are aligned on timelines and deliverables
Monitor progress against milestones and escalate risks or roadblocks to the manager
Operational Excellence & Process Management
Assist with building and maintaining operational tools, trackers, and dashboards that support GTM execution.
Partner with planning and merchandising to validate timelines and inventory flows against launch milestones
Contribute to the development of process documentation and operational playbooks
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as a point of contact for process-related questions and GTM status updates
Prepare materials for alignment meetings, ensuring stakeholders have the information needed to make timely decisions
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
Liaisse between merchandising and other key functions such as design, planning, sourcing and marketing to ensure seasonal readiness at key milestones and throughout the process
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
Education Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Retail Management or related field preferred
Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience : 1+ year experience in merch operations, retail operations or related entry-level role.
Years of Job-Related Experience Required : 1+ years
Technical / Other Skills Required :
Strong proficiency in Excel
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal, attention to detail and accuracy, organizational skills, & math skills (ability to work with numbers and analyze data).
Ability to be metal free and work in a metal free environment, when necessary, based on security policy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently as well as a team.
Ability to work in the office and remote as required.
