Job Summary / Basic Function

WSU Marketing & Communications is seeking a motivated, well-organized individual to plan, research, gather, write, edit, organize and post web content (text, photos, video) to engage current and prospective students for the Academic Affairs division. Position will include :

• Working independently or with web developers to build or update websites or pages
• Performing regular content updates
• Creating new features to engage prospective and current students
• Assisting and advising users of the university web content management system
• Staying on top of web trends and best practices while upholding university branding and website standards
• Using web analytics to understand and help improve user experience
• Other writing / editing duties within Marketing & Communications

The annual salary for this position starts at $50,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications.
