Seeking a Logistics Coordinator in the Tempe Area!!

Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will serve as a Remote Gate Agent, supporting thousands of drivers nationwide through two-way audio / video communication. Your role involves verifying truck specifications and processes, coordinating logistics, and providing consistent updates regarding the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. This position requires a high level of detail orientation, fast-paced adaptability, and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Remote Gate Agent, supporting driver operations through audio / video communication.
  • Verify and identify necessary specifications on trucks and processes.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all parties involved in logistics operations.
  • Provide daily updates regarding the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at various facilities.
  • Handle approximately 200 driver communications per day, ensuring clear and excellent communication.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ year of high-volume customer support experience, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Strong job tenure and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in retail customer service is considered.
  • Technical savvy with logistics and intermodal knowledge.
  • Experience in call center and inbound call handling.
  • Work Environment

    This role requires on-site work five days a week. Training will occur Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm for three weeks, with the first day from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm. Post-training, the schedule is Sunday to Tuesday, 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm with Wednesday and Thursday off. Mandatory overtime is expected during peak seasons from October to January, which includes an additional workday and 10-hour workdays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
