Supervision of staff and volunteers providing on campus transportation.Supervision of all off campus transportation including medical transport to doctor's offices and resident trips.Develop yearly budgetDocumentation of transportation requests and actual transports.Training and supervision of employees and volunteers assigned to transport.Logistical coordination of vehicle scheduling, maintenance and repair.Oversight of wheelchair maintenance and inventory.Reports on transportation system use, vehicle problems, accident reports.Attendance at staff meetings, training and committee meetings as assigned.Responsible to learn and use standard functions within software and know basic operation of computer to enhance efficiency in resident / patient service, assessment and / or clinical documentation. Responsible to use computers and software as required by work environment in order to enhance communications, performance and knowledge.Is aware of Presbyterian Homes Corporate Compliance policies including those having to do with confidentiality and security of information, and concern for the well being of residents and patients. Demonstrates behaviors and completes work in a manner consistent with these policies.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Education / Requirements :
High school education or GED.Valid driver's license / CDL Preferred.Good interpersonal, organizational, and written skills.Use of phone, radio, computer and Xerox machine.Contacts : Residents, staff, volunteers
Physical Demands :
Walking much of the day. Ability to transfer residents.
