Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers an opportunity for a skilled professional to support students with visual impairments by providing accessible educational materials in various formats. Located in Renton, WA, this role involves working onsite at multiple district locations and requires a Washington State license and certification, as well as fingerprints on file with OSPI prior to starting. Flexibility in scheduling is available, with options ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 full-time equivalent (up to 37.5 hours per week).
