Description :

The role requires an Operating Room Registered Nurse.

Day shift positions are available.

Two years of experience is required.

First-time travelers are allowed.

Shifts will vary with start times from 07 : 00 to 11 : 00.

The position includes weekday scheduled shifts and night call shifts.

Weekend shifts and call shifts may also be required.

The unit manages various patient diagnoses including orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular, general, urology, gynecological, dental, ENT, plastics, eyes, and trauma cases.

An interdisciplinary support team is present, including IV teams and rapid response teams.

The daily patient census is around 70.

There are 18 operating rooms available.

Travelers may need to float to nearby hospitals if required.

Refusing to float may lead to contract cancellation.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

The patient-to-nurse ratio follows AORN standards.

All certifications must be provided in PDF format.

Epic Charting experience is a strict requirement.

The facility does not accommodate block scheduling.

One weekend shift may be scheduled per six-week period.

It is crucial to finalize any time-off requests prior to submission.

All submitted licenses must not be expired, and no pending licenses are accepted.
