Physician, Inpatient Palliative Care (Castro Valley, CA)

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is recruiting for a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Inpatient Palliative Care Physician, to provide Palliative Medicine consultation services at Eden Medical Center.

• Provide Palliative Medicine consultation services inpatient in various settings (ICU, ER, wards).
• Participate in palliative interdisciplinary team
• Clear referral criteria (i.e., no chronic pain management and demarcation between palliative care and hospice / case management teams)
• Enjoy work / life balance (weekday schedule, no weekend or overnight call)
• Care for a diverse patient population in a small to medium sized hospital with large neurotrauma ICU
• Assist in the development and growth of our inpatient program by means of quality improvement projects and educational outreach
• Join a robust palliative team (both inpatient and outpatient clinicians) within SEBMG and Sutter Health with ample opportunities for mentoring, learning and professional development
