Manufacturing Engineer

We design and deliver propulsion and defense systems that solve the most urgent and critical national security demands. The Manufacturing Engineer will join the Operations Team, leading development manufacturing efforts on next-generation products and systems in aerospace and defense. The ideal candidate will be passionate about process improvement, scalability, and influencing product development. Hands-on experience in Manufacturing environments, including technical expertise in assembly, integration, and test of complex products is required. This position is an in-person role.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing process development and champion industry best practices
• Drive Design for Manufacture and Assembly principles throughout product lifecycle
• Accelerate manufacturing capabilities with consideration for quality, capacity, scalability, ergonomics, and automation
• Implement continuous improvement in collaboration with the design engineering, quality, and build technicians
• Take a hands-on role in the manufacturing process, including prototype builds, documenting work instructions, designing and implementing tooling, and performing RCCA rework as required
• Data review and disposition of hardware and assemblies
• Own manufacturing BOMs, routings, process planning, and process change management
• Develop, publish, and maintain manufacturing and process specifications appropriate for product maturity and design phase of the program
• Support AI&T infrastructure and growth with a focus on manufacturing readiness

Compensation

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $90,000- $120,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
