Short-Term Temporary Business Systems Analyst
Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) has an exciting Short-Term Temporary (External) or Out-of-Class (Internal) Business Systems Analyst opportunity in our Finance Division. The selected candidate will serve as a business and technical lead for SPU's financial data and reporting environment. This environment comprises of multiple enterprise applications / systems and a complex financial data warehouse. A unique combination of information technology, finance, accounting, and business skills are needed. As part of SPU's Finance Division, this position requires excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills to ensure a successful partnership between City departments, Seattle IT, and SPU users of financial data and financial systems.
This opportunity is expected to last approximately 10-11 months and is open to all qualified candidates.

Qualifications
Experience : Three (3) years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst performing duties such as the implementation of off-the-shelf business applications, including gap-fit analyses, capabilities assessments, design, configuration, and / or testing. Education : Associate's degree in Management Information System, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems or a related field.
Combinations of appropriate education, training, certification, and experience(s) will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability.

The full salary range for this position is $46.03 per hour - $69.04 per hour.
Workplace Environment : This position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. City employees will have the option to work remotely two days a week. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
