Desktop Support Specialist - Electronic Classroom Support in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Sentar is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist - Electronic Classroom Support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available
- Ensure that Active Directory accounts are properly configured
- Assist customers in overcoming challenges through monitoring and performance management
- Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network
- Turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning
- Manage users and computers in an enterprise network
Qualifications
Clearance Level : Must possess DoD Interim Secret OR an active Secret clearanceMinimum Certifications : IAT IIEducation : High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Skills : 3 years of relevant experience; general experience in electronic documentation, system administration, network administration, database administration; perform standard IT functions within the technology area; experience with connectivity, interoperability, operational readiness, and security and compliance systems maintenance; experience with systems and hardware and software administration and integration; experience with routine maintenance, including break and fix, backup and recovery, and inventory and asset managementHighly Desired Skills
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Physical Science, Math, or Graphic DesignExperience with multi-media systems support and COI network operationsExperience with local group policy management and file share, system, and account administrationExperience with configuration and change management and life cycle supportExperience with workstation and server hardware installation, maintenance, board replacement, and cable switchingExperience with system monitoring and troubleshootingKnowledge of system development, software maintenance, and ancillary functionsKnowledge of cyber defense compliance and accreditation servicesAbility to perform onsite service center supportBenefits
