Department operates 2 Cath and EP Labs and RN's will be cross trained for both areas and may tech as well. Procedures can range from 2-16 cases per day. Procedures you can expect within Cath Lab nursing involve circulating heart catheterizations, angioplasties, STEMI's, structural heart, peripheral procedures, pacemaker and ICD procedures.
