The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading enterprise client on a large-scale data center transformation project. The initiative involves migrating a Cisco VxLAN environment into a modern Arista fabric architecture across hundreds of racks. We are seeking experienced Data Center Architects who can design, implement, and guide this migration while ensuring seamless performance and reliability.
What We Are Looking For (Must-Have Qualifications)
Deep hands-on expertise with Arista Fabric, EOS, and CloudVision (CVP) for design, provisioning, and automation
Proven experience designing and implementing Cisco VxLAN in enterprise or carrier-grade data centers
Direct background migrating large-scale environments from Cisco to Arista
Minimum 7 years working with switching and routing technologies, including design and architecture responsibilities
Strong knowledge of modern data center trends, including virtualization, fabric path / TRILL, blade systems, grid computing, low-latency networking, and software-defined networking (SDN)
Ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure while communicating effectively across all levels of an organization
Preferred Experience
10+ years overall in IT and network engineering
Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven problem-solving and analytical decision-making abilities
Experience contributing to process improvements and cross-team collaboration
What You Will Do : As a senior technical authority, you will help shape and execute the transition from Cisco to Arista at enterprise scale.
Key responsibilities include :
Designing and implementing advanced networking solutions using Arista Fabric, CloudVision, and EOS
Leading migration efforts from Cisco VxLAN to Arista-based environments
Developing, testing, and supervising implementation of network designs to meet strict business and technical requirements
Providing technical guidance and consultation throughout the project lifecycle, including troubleshooting critical issues
Translating business needs into technical architectures that balance cost, performance, and reliability
Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders as a trusted partner in delivering solutions
Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring proper documentation
