Responsibilities :

Data Engineering – the candidate will organize, manipulate, filter, and visualize a large quantity of data. He will explore data reduction techniques to optimize memory allocation and processing time and build efficient ML training and validation pipeline
Reinforcement Learning – the candidate will improve current RL algorithms
Coding – the candidate will implement his research and code in Python / TensorFlow
Validation and deployment - Validate and tune models, deployment of these trading algorithms preferably in C++
Domain Expertise – the candidate is expected to gain a deep understanding of stock markets and quantitative trading strategies

Required Qualifications :

Ability to apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. The candidate must be able to make data-driven decisions

Must be able to self-motivate, bring his / her skills to the next level, and must be able to learn techniques quickly and effectively, and concepts

Proficiency in Machine learning and Deep Learning. The candidate must have a proven track record of deploying TensorFlow models in production and producing business value

Proficiency in Python and TensorFlow

Expertise in SQL required, experience with APIs and knowledge of AWS Athena, AWS Sagemaker, and data architecture a plus

Must be able to communicate effectively & proactively with the team to accomplish business objectives

M.S. or Ph.D. in Quantitative disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Data Science, or Quantitative Finance

Desired Qualifications :

Proficiency in Reinforcement Learning (DDQN, A2C, and A3C)

Proficiency in C++ programming

Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, in particular, AWS EC2, dockers

Strong understanding of statistics and linear regression

Good knowledge of signal processing and time series analysis
