Employee Benefits Consultant
The Consultant at Marsh McLennan Agency works closely with MMA clients to deliver exceptional customer service. The Consultant provides employee benefits expertise to help clients understand how insurance solutions can enable them to achieve their long-term strategies. In this role, the Consultant collaborates with sales professionals and insurance carrier partners to grow the success of the team and the client.
In this position, you will :
- Apply working knowledge of employee benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HRA, HSA, COBRA as well as general HR questions
- Develop and manage long and short range benefit strategies for clients, and foster strong client relationships; may require local travel to client site
- Serve as a subject matter expert to clients in areas of Health & Welfare compliance (i.e. HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 5500, ACA, DOL, etc.)
- Manage the RFP process for new & prospective clients as well as the renewal and implementation processes
- Coordinate, develop, and execute project plans and presentations for specific client groups

The applicable base salary range for this role is $90,100 to $167,900. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
