Director Of Msp / Mssp For The Us West Territory
Proofpoint is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of MSP / MSSP for the US West territory to lead and scale our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) business in the region. This leader will be responsible for building, developing, and mentoring a team of MSP Channel Account Managers (CAMs) focused on driving growth, expanding partner relationships, and delivering measurable revenue results through Proofpoint's MSP / MSSP ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a proven channel leader with deep experience in the MSP / MSSP market, an understanding of the financial and operational models that drive partner success, and a track record of executing regional go-to-market strategies that deliver sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and lead a high-performing team of MSP Channel Account Managers across the US West region.
- Develop and execute a regional strategy to expand Proofpoint's footprint within the MSP / MSSP ecosystem, aligned with global MSP strategy and goals.
- Drive partner revenue growth through acquisition of new MSP / MSSP partners and expansion within existing accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure MSP / MSSP programs and offerings align with partner and customer needs.
- Foster executive relationships with top-tier MSP / MSSP partners and technology alliances in the region.
- Represent Proofpoint within regional MSP / MSSP communities, industry events, and partner forums.
- Operationalize the program locally, ensuring consistency with global standards and processes.
- Own performance metrics for the region, including ARR growth, partner enablement, and business development KPIs.
Qualifications :
7+ years of experience leading channel or partner sales teams, preferably in cybersecurity or SaaS.Strong understanding of MSP / MSSP business models, including financials, go-to-market motions, and partner economics.Proven success in building and scaling partner-led revenue programs.Experience working closely with RMM / PSA platforms and technology providers serving the MSP market.Exceptional leadership and people management skillsable to recruit, coach, and motivate a high-performing regional team.Strategic thinker with strong operational discipline and a results-oriented mindset.Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence at all levels.Why Proofpoint?
