Mental Health Technician

Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City, Arkansas has an immediate opening for a Mental Health Technician / Youth Care Worker!

Our Mental Health Technician responsibilities include some of the following :

Care for our patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them continuously throughout the shift.

Conduct direct observation rounds during assigned shift and document patient’s behavior.

• Model and teach appropriate life skills to the patients.
• Orient the patients to the unit and assist them with daily living skills.
• Provide a safe, clean and therapeutic environment.
• Provide physical restraint or intervention if appropriate. Training will be provided.

Qualifications for the Mental Health Technician should include the following :

Minimum Age - Must be at least 21 years of age.
