Job description

Business Readiness Project Manager (Contract)

Location : Lexington, KY

Contract Type : W-2 Contract (6–12 months, with possible extension)

Travel : Approx. 10% (quarterly, domestic)

Start Date : ASAP

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Business Readiness Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide readiness efforts in support of major digital product rollouts. This role sits within the Global Customer Experience group and reports to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Digital Products and Solutions.

You'll own and drive the business readiness workstream—working across 9 verticals globally—ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders in training, marketing, customer support, deployment, UAT, and change management. This role is instrumental in preparing the organization for a successful global deployment of digital platforms, including S / 4HANA and Salesforce-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage business readiness workstreams : training, support readiness, marketing readiness, UAT, deployment, translations, and change management (OCM).

Collaborate with global functional leads to ensure successful alignment of strategy, timelines, and resources.

Facilitate strategic planning sessions and stakeholder analyses to guide readiness milestones and deliverables.

Own status reporting, executive presentations, and risk mitigation strategies related to business readiness.

Ensure high-level stakeholder engagement and act as a cross-functional liaison to IT, Sales, Marketing, Master Data, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams.

Partner with quality and testing teams to execute UAT and deliver a seamless go-live experience.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of digital project management experience with strong business readiness or organizational change management background.

Deep experience managing complex, enterprise-level programs across multiple departments and regions.

Background in managing training, support, and customer experience rollouts as part of digital transformation efforts.

Exceptional communication and executive reporting skills.

Familiarity with Salesforce, eCommerce platforms, or S / 4HANA is a strong plus.

Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field.

Preferred Experience

PgMP or PMP certification.

Experience leading global rollouts and coordinating with offshore teams.

Background in digital customer experience, master data, or IT-driven transformation efforts.
