Anesthesiologist – Full-Time or Part-Time

Location : Bluffton & Findlay, Ohio (Northwest & Central Ohio)

Employment Type : Full-time or Part-time (W-2, permanent position)

Facility Type : Community Health System (Hospital & Surgery Center Settings)

Start Date : Open; Residency within local area may be required

Visa Status : Not open to visa candidates (H1B / J1)

Work Status : W-2 only (Not open to 1099 or locums)

Description

We invite board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologists to join our collaborative team serving patients across Northwest and Central Ohio . Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, we offer flexible scheduling , diverse case exposure, and an equitable care team model .

With advanced facilities and the support of a full complement of specialties, Facility offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced physicians and recent graduates . This is a permanent employed position and may require relocation to the immediate local area.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver anesthesia care as part of a care team model including 7 full-time anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs

Work at Findlay Hospital , Bluffton Hospital , Findlay Surgery Center , or a combination of sites

Choose from a wide variety of cases (ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, OB, urology, healthy peds)

Flexible scheduling with options for full-time or part-time employment

Equitable call schedule and opportunities for overtime if desired

Participate in weekly onsite CME and grand rounds via Mayo Clinic Care Network

Option to teach medical students and advanced practice trainees

Utilize advanced technology including four da Vinci® Xi™ robots

Collaborate with surgical and medical specialties across the health system

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

(Eligibility must be within 5 years and candidate must have plans to test) – Required

Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain – Required

DEA license – must be obtained prior to start – Required

Clean malpractice and license history – Required

Must indicate :

Working Hours

Flexible workdays and hours

Proficiency in delivering safe and effective anesthesia across multiple case types

Strong interpersonal and team-based communication skills

Ability to adapt to various clinical environments (hospital, surgery center)

Interest in continuous learning and medical education

Comfort working with EMR systems and advanced surgical technology

Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and collaborative care

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range : $500,000 – $515,000 / year for full-time (based on experience)

(Part-time salary to be discussed based on hours)

Relocation support (if applicable)
