Pay : $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary : Join our team as a vital member in the core functions of sterile processing. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in maintaining a sterile environment crucial for patient safety.

Responsibilities :

• Efficiently decontaminate and clean instruments and equipment according to Instructions for Use (IFU), including disassembly and selection of suitable cleaning methods. Conduct thorough visual inspections before assembly and packaging.
• Execute appropriate sterilization processes for instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with IFUs and confirming that all external indicators, filters, and labels are accurate.
• Perform routine cleaning and testing of sterilizers, engaging in biological monitoring, leak testing, and Bowie-Dick tests as necessary.
• Accurately document all tasks using instrument tracking software and paper documentation as prescribed.
• Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills while working with minimal supervision in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
