About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Tech

Shift : Day and Mid

Hours per Shift : 8 Hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in specialty

License : National certification required

Certifications : BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT

Must-Have : Experience with various cardiac and vascular procedures

Description :

The CVOR Tech position involves assisting with cardiac surgery cases.

Required cases include CABG (on / off pump), valve replacements, aortic aneurysm / dissection, and heart transplants.

Vascular surgery experience is also required for procedures such as endovascular aortic repair and bypass surgeries.

Experience in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, atrial septal defect repair, and coronary artery bypass grafts is preferred.

There are a total of 6 operating rooms available including hybrid and procedural rooms.

Weekend on-call duties may be required.

Floating to other facilities is not required.

Scrub colors are provided by the facility.

Charting is done using Excellian / Epic.

Candidates should have experience in handling cases following universal protocol and aseptic technique.

Candidates must be willing to provide a supervisor reference.

Preferred experience includes working in trauma settings and additional types of procedures relevant to cardiac and vascular care.
