About The Position
Description :
A Medical Center is seeking a Locum-to-Perm Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery to provide coverage on a 2-week on / 2-week off rotation. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with training and support provided.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide care in Cardiothoracic Surgery (100% Adult).
- Perform inpatient (75%) and outpatient (25%) duties.
- Cover weekend rounds (2 weekends per month) with 5–10 patients per round.
- Participate in night call coverage (7 nights per week).
- Support the surgical team in both pre- and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
