Support K–12 students in academic settings by delivering consistent instructional, behavioral, and classroom support as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This role provides flexible opportunities to work in various schools while contributing to student success under teacher or administrator direction.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience working with school-aged children
Familiarity with IEP goals and student accommodations
Ability to adapt to different grade levels and school environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable supporting students with academic and behavioral needs
Key Responsibilities :
Assist students individually or in small groups with classwork and routines
Support educators in delivering lessons and reinforcing instruction
Supervise student activities in classrooms, hallways, and common areas
Implement behavior plans and provide redirection as needed
Document student progress or incidents, if requested by staff
This substitute role requires professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to engage with diverse student populations. Applicants should be available for same-day or short-notice assignments.
Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
