Nurse Assistant Position

Wagner Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic is seeking a qualified individual to join our team! Starting pay rate is $31.25 with additional consideration based on experience. Wagner Community Memorial Hospital - Avera is looking for both full-time and part-time Nurse Assistant positions. The Nurse Assistant provides direct patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Position Highlights :

• Provides safe direct patient care : ambulating, bathing, positioning, passing meal trays, feeding, and attending to other care needs.
• Assists RN / LPN in gathering basic assessment data : admission assessment form, taking vital signs, and reporting ongoing observations.
• Provides comfort measures and emotional support to patient and family members.
