Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Staff Accountant in Sunny Isles Beach, FL. Candidate must possess a professional demeanor and strong communication skills. Candidates also IDEALLY have hotel, hospitality industry experience doing accounting work or it could be in any other similar industry such as country club or anything else similar. Great Plains and Yardi experience are a huge plus!

We are either seeking a Staff Accountant with a US Bachelor or higher in Accounting or Finance, or someone with minimum 3 years of accounting and general ledger experience or someone with both! Accounting and finance new grads are welcome to apply as well.

Type : Long term Temp (potential temp to perm)

Worksite Location : Onsite in Sunny Isles Beach, FL

Hours : 8am – 5pm or 9am – 5pm

Pay : $33-38 / hour (DOE)

Duties :

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Journal entries, reconciliations and other accounting duties

Income audit if the candidate has any experience with this, would be nice

General bookkeeping tasks

Support in other accounting areas as needed (flexibility required)

We use GP and Yardi software ERP, but any other ERP may work

Flexibility and willingness to learn new accounting skills on the job

Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with change

Ability to work in a smaller, collaborative team

Comfortable working onsite in a hotel, spa, and / or residential environment
