Responsibilities Position is in a 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 10 labor rooms and 5 high risk rooms Average 180-200 deliveries per month Patient population includes obstetric patients ages 14 and up, including term, low risk, and high-risk cases such as preterm labor, hypertension, PROM, kidney stones, IUGR, and diabetes Typical patient ratios are 1 : 2 for women in labor and 1 : 1 for women with complications who are unstable RNs circulate for C-sections but do not scrub Shift is 12-hour days, with required coverage for two weekends per month No on-call required Care focuses on promoting patient-family centered care Work closely with MFM specialists and OB hospitalists available 24 / 7 Scrub color required is ceil blue Role includes direct care for female obstetric patients, newborns, and family members Environment designed to support patient-family centered care Requirements Active MS or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum of 2-3 years’ Labor & Delivery experience required Prior travel nursing experience is required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP Must have circulating experience in the operating room Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629909.
