Description :
Seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting.
Position involves managing a caseload of patients of all ages and diagnoses.
The therapy department caters to outpatients, inpatients, and patients in skilled nursing facilities.
Experience in wound care, lymphedema management, pelvic floor therapy, and pediatric specialties is preferred.
Must have skills in acute care, adaptive devices, and rehabilitation techniques.
Interactions with patients will involve performing assessments and developing individualized care plans.
Education of patients and their families is an essential part of this role.
Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is expected to ensure comprehensive patient care.
The therapist may float within the facility to meet departmental needs.
Weekend coverage is required for this position.
Housing and a rental vehicle will be provided for the duration of the assignment.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED in housing units.
Traveler must clean the housing unit upon departure to avoid additional fees.
The vehicle provided must be used for local transportation and returned in clean condition with a full tank of gas.
The position requires working 2 of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
References from supervisory roles that cover recent employment in a comparable specialty are required.
