DogSpot : Passionate About Dogs? Join Our Overnight Team!

DogSpot, a cage-free dog boarding and daycare, is seeking highly motivated Overnight Assistants to join our team. We are passionate about providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment for our canine guests, and we're looking for individuals who share that passion.

Positions Available :

  • Weekday Overnight Assistant
  • Weekend Overnight Assistant
  • (on-call shifts you are paid $50.00 a shift if you don't get called in
  • Holiday shifts with added Bonuses

What You'll Do :

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our canine guests : Monitor dog behavior, intervene when necessary, and maintain a calm and peaceful environment.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic facility : Perform light cleaning duties while minimizing disruption to the dogs.
  • Collaborate with the Lead and other team members : Work effectively as part of a team to provide the best possible care for our dogs.

  • Proven experience working with dogs : Strong understanding of dog behavior, pack dynamics, and best practices for dog care.
  • Exceptional observational skills : Ability to quickly identify and respond to changes in dog behavior.
  • Calm and assertive demeanor : Confidence and assertiveness are essential for managing dog packs.
  • Physical stamina and mental alertness : Ability to work long hours on your feet and remain alert throughout your shift.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability : Punctuality, dependability, and a commitment to providing the highest quality care.
  • Flexibility and adaptability : Willingness to work holidays and adjust to changing schedules.
