Job description

A not-for-profit community hospital in central Connecticut, which has continued to be the leading health provider for those who live and work in the area, is adding a Nocturnist. The hospital has earned national recognition for its dedication to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Opportunity :

  • Join a collegial and collaborative team of providers who are dedicated to the hospital?s goal of being one of the best community hospitals in Connecticut
  • The Hospitalist service provides 24 / 7 / 365 inpatient hospital coverage for all patients admitted to the medical and surgical floors
  • 169-bed non-profit hospital
  • 12-hour night shifts with a block schedule of 7 on / 7 off
  • Open ICU. No procedures
  • 5-6 admissions per night
  • Pulmonologists do vents
  • This position offers a robust salary and a comprehensive array of benefits
  • Relocation assistance / sign-on bonus offered

  • Conveniently located in the central region of Connecticut, with easy travel distance to Bradley International Airport
  • Safe, family-oriented communities with excellent public and private schools
