About this Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a skilled accountant who wants to learn and grow in the broader arena of non-profit administration. The Senior Accountant maintains the accounting records of the Pacific Forest Trust (PFT) and for another non-profit client for which PFT provides accounting and administrative services. Responsibilities include exercising accounting controls and ensuring that all accounting functions are carried out in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly and annual financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement (accrual and cash basis), and statement of cash flows
• Prepares journal entries and reconciles ledger accounts
• Participates in annual budgeting process
• Performs year-end closing procedures

Prepares audit schedules and participates in annual audit field work

Reports to :

Director of Finance and Administration

Qualifications and Experience

Location : San Francisco main office. In-person, in-office.

Schedule : Monday through Friday.

Benefits and Compensation :

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Salary : $80,000-90,000. Salary is determined by a number of factors including education, experience, skills, training, and location.
