Security Officer
Provides protection to Reynolda House Museum of American Art as well as guests and staff from criminal activity, fire, safety hazards or other dangerous situations. Monitors activities within the museum, conducts roving patrols, and responds to incidents as directed. Responsibilities involve dynamic interpersonal interaction with Reynolda House visitors, staff, and vendors during normal museum hours as well as special functions and after-hours and weekend events. Demonstrates approachability and confidence and makes all feel welcome as a reflection of the Reynolda brand.

Physical Requirements :
Performs bending, climbing, crouching, kneeling, reaching from ground level to overhead, pushing and pulling up to 20 pounds; must be able to visually observe and monitor Museum building, grounds, security cameras and other related equipment; will be subjected to long periods of standing or walking. May be called upon to physically assist guests in an emergency or evacuation.
Environmental Conditions :
Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions; subject to occasional extreme heat and cold; subject to hazards.
