Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education Teacher serving elementary grades K-1 with a caseload of 6 students. The position is a contract role for the uping school year within an elementary school in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction to students with special education needs in grades K-1
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Monitor and document student progress regularly
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
