YOUTH MINISTRY - STUDENT LEADERSHIP, OUTREACH & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Job Overview
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the overall vision implementation of the youth ministry through the training and equipping of Oaks College MA’s & Interns including the execution of all major Oaks Youth Events. This position requires a multiplication mindset that understands the importance of true, healthy delegation. If 1 word could sum up the Operation Pastor’s role, it would be the “TRANSLATOR”. This role also includes the stewardship of Student Leadership initiatives and community outreach efforts – including school outreach opportunities like Gatorade Drops, THEGOSPELCO, etc.
Responsibilities + Duties :
- Direct the Oaks Youth Internship for Oaks College – Training & Developing Future Youth Pastors
- Coordinate & Direct the Student Leadership Initiatives & Efforts Including THEGOSPEL.CO
- Oversee All Outreach Initiatives & Efforts in Schools and our surrounding Cities
- Oversee the Growth Pathway for all Student Next Steps for First Time Guests & Salvation Commitments
- Coordinate, Plan and Direct all Oaks Youth Events Including One Nights, Socials, Camp & Fall Retreat
- Participate in Performance Reviews & Accountability 2X / Year
- Teaching & Pastoring Interns, Volunteers & Students in Various Gatherings & Contexts
- Teaching & Preaching 3X / Year in Alignment with Beliefs, Values & Mission of Oaks Church
- Maintain a Rhythm of Discipleship by Walking with Students & Volunteers towards Maturity in Faith
Supervisory Responsibilities
Equip and empower Ministry Associate’s to lead their Oaks Church interns with clarity, health and excellenceServe as liaison to Oaks College for Oaks YouthLead and Delegate Responsibilities for, or Direct, all Oaks Youth major eventsEmpower the Oaks Youth Admin to submit all Event RequestsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree.2 years of full-time youth ministry experience.Skills
