Job descriptionEquip and empower Ministry Associate’s to lead their Oaks Church interns with clarity, health and excellence Serve as liaison to Oaks College for Oaks Youth Lead and Delegate Responsibilities for, or Direct, all Oaks Youth major events Empower the Oaks Youth Admin to submit all Event Requests Bachelor’s degree. 2 years of full-time youth ministry experience. Visioneer – Able to create, cast & implement vision Trustworthy Character – Proverbs 4 : 23 “Above All Else, Guard Your Heart, For Everything You Do Flows from It.” Catalytic Leader – Have Enough Charisma to Attract Students and Adults, But Not So Much That They Follow You and Not Jesus. Be A Leader That Can Rally the Right People to The Right Vision. Effective Communicator – You Can Communicate to A Room Full of Students, But Also to Parents and Leaders. In All Your Communication, People Can Tell You Have A Passion for Jesus, God’s Word and Students. Emotionally Intelligent – You Understand How to Connect with Students, Parents, And Leaders in The Right Way Using the Right Words at The Right Time. A Multiplier – You Need to Be A Hard Worker, But Not Someone Who Does All the Work. You Need to Be A Team Builder Who Can Recruit A Team of Leaders Who Understand and Become Multipliers of The Vision and Mission Commitment to continual growth in personal spiritual life and relationship with Christ Attend Tuesday Staff Prayer Meetings, All Staff Meetings, “All Hands On Deck” Events “Serve One and Attend One” at weekly Oaks Church Sunday services. Support the vision, values and ministry of Oaks Church through tithing, serving, etc. Team Player Works Hard Champion the Ministry Idea Creation to System Implementation Expert Communicate Plans of Action in Writing to the Youth Pastor Respond Promptly to Text Messages [Within Work Hours] Always Respond to Phone Calls from Youth Pastor [Usually Means Urgent or Emergency]

YOUTH MINISTRY - STUDENT LEADERSHIP, OUTREACH & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Job Overview
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the overall vision implementation of the youth ministry through the training and equipping of Oaks College MA’s & Interns including the execution of all major Oaks Youth Events. This position requires a multiplication mindset that understands the importance of true, healthy delegation. If 1 word could sum up the Operation Pastor’s role, it would be the “TRANSLATOR”. This role also includes the stewardship of Student Leadership initiatives and community outreach efforts – including school outreach opportunities like Gatorade Drops, THEGOSPELCO, etc.
Responsibilities + Duties :
- Direct the Oaks Youth Internship for Oaks College – Training & Developing Future Youth Pastors
- Coordinate & Direct the Student Leadership Initiatives & Efforts Including THEGOSPEL.CO
- Oversee All Outreach Initiatives & Efforts in Schools and our surrounding Cities
- Oversee the Growth Pathway for all Student Next Steps for First Time Guests & Salvation Commitments
- Coordinate, Plan and Direct all Oaks Youth Events Including One Nights, Socials, Camp & Fall Retreat
- Participate in Performance Reviews & Accountability 2X / Year
- Teaching & Pastoring Interns, Volunteers & Students in Various Gatherings & Contexts
- Teaching & Preaching 3X / Year in Alignment with Beliefs, Values & Mission of Oaks Church
- Maintain a Rhythm of Discipleship by Walking with Students & Volunteers towards Maturity in Faith
