JOB DESCRIPTION : Healthcare system in New Mexico is seeking a dynamic and dedicated board-certified Internal Medicine Residency Program Director to lead our esteemed residency program. Incoming physician will bring a minimum of three years of educational or administrative experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Program. As the Program Director, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development and execution of our Internal Medicine residency program. This role balances administrative and clinical teaching responsibilities, offering a 50 / 50 split between each. Position Details : Lead and oversee the Categorical Internal Medicine residency programEngage in a blend of administrative duties and clinical teachingParticipate in faculty recruitment, retention, and professional developmentDevelop and implement curriculum, policies, and procedures for the residency programFoster a collaborative and supportive learning environment HOSPITAL : Facility has over 150 beds, a level III trauma center, and includes fully staffed 24-hour emergency care, including both an accredited Chest Pain Center and accredited Stroke Center. The hospital includes a specialized Heart and Vascular Center, an accredited Joint Replacement Center, a designated labor and delivery unit, NICU, and comprehensive ICU. The inpatient and outpatient services include a Surgery Center with minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery services; rehabilitation services; an accredited Sleep Center, Women's Imaging Center, FSED, Urgent Care Centers, Primary Care Clinics, and Specialty Care Clinics.
