Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and mission-aligned Director of Marketing to lead our marketing and communications efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping and expanding our brand, managing all outbound communications, and driving audience growth and engagement across digital and traditional channels. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical thinking, team leadership, and a passion for evangelization.

Key Responsibilities

Communications Management : Oversee all outbound communications across email, social media, print, and partner channels to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with mission and brand voice.

Brand Growth : Develop and implement strategies to expand the reach, influence, and reputation of our ministry within Catholic and broader audiences.

Social Media Leadership : Manage and grow our presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and others, including content planning, scheduling, engagement, and analysis.

KPI Development & Reporting : Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and overall marketing effectiveness. Monitor and report on results regularly, with actionable insights for optimization.

Funnel Strategy : Design, build, and test marketing funnels that support audience acquisition, engagement, and donor conversion.

Website Management : Oversee website strategy and content to ensure a compelling user experience, consistent messaging, and increased traffic and engagement. Collaborate with design and development partners as needed.

Management & Collaboration : Work with marketing staff and cross-functionally with content creators, development / fundraising, events, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities.

Qualifications :

Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing leadership, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization

Familiarity with Catholic audiences and Church teachings

Demonstrated success in brand building, digital marketing, and audience engagement, specifically with proven growth of social media channels

Strong understanding of Catholic media, culture, and evangelization

Skilled in using marketing platforms (, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite)

Strong understanding working competency utilizing generative AI tools

Experience developing and tracking KPIs, marketing funnels, and performance reports

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Experience in website management (WordPress preferred)

Leadership experience, including managing a team and collaborating with external partners

Preferred :

Adobe Creative Suite, Graphic design experience a plus

Experience with donor communications and fundraising campaigns
