Adult Psychiatrist

Physician : Psychiatrist, Adult Outpatient

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry, is seeking Adult‑Outpatient Psychiatrists to join our faculty at Boston Medical Center (BMC) in Boston, MA. This role provides an opportunity to participate in a statewide effort to redesign and innovate ambulatory behavioral health care as part of the growing academic department.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful, comprehensive, and acute‑based assessments and psychopharmacology services.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team—including recovery and peer specialists, mental‑health clinicians, psychologists, advanced practice providers, and case managers—to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide acute and longitudinal outpatient services in the new clinical space.
• Engage in research and educational contributions as a member of the academic department.

Compensation

Competitive salary commensurate with academic training and experience. Salary range : $228,648–$360,078. Additional benefits include paid vacation, sick time, parental leave, CME coverage, and reduced tuition for faculty and dependents at Boston University.
