As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail and mall environment. Your presence will help create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and tenants, while you remain alert to any unusual activity. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location by vehicle as well as on foot. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or activity
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to site protocols
  • Assist with crowd control and provide directions or information to visitors as needed
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
