Job descriptionTravel to patient locations within Connecticut to provide wound care services Perform sharp and surgical debridement, including administration of Lidocaine Manage a patient load of 6-7 visits per day Coordinate weekly schedule with a scheduler; travel times typically range from 10 to 30 minutes, with rare instances up to 90 minutes Maintain timely and accurate charting, including photo documentation using an iPad, with completion required by end of day Demonstrate excellent bedside manner and effective communication with patients Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and documentation standards Must have a valid Connecticut Physician Assistant license Required board certification : Wound Care Several years of relevant clinical experience required, with recent experience (within the last 3-6 months) in sharp and surgical debridement Additional certifications are a plus Strong organizational skills and adaptability for a mobile work environment Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Connect with fellow locum professionals through online forums, networking events, and support groups, fostering camaraderie, collaboration, and shared learning experiences.
