Material Handler Specialist, Warehouse / Distribution Center

Location : Grapevine, TX USA - 4250 Patriot Drive, Suite 100

Shift Details : Monday to Friday, 10am-6 : 45pm. Shift subject to change based on the needs of the business. OT mandatory if required.

Full-time, permanent

Our Grapevine, TX location is looking for a dynamic and motivated warehouse associate to join the team. This is a fantastic chance to work for a company that has the rare mix of a fun yet high-paced and professional work environment.

Job Summary

As directed by the supervisor, this position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customers and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Responsible for accurate unit pick and case pick
  • Responsible for goods in procedure to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Perform order audits for quality assurance
  • Ensure product orders are reviewed and error corrections are completed
  • Perform all tasks within the scope of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures related to the job
  • Train associates when required
  • Other duties as directed by the Supervisor(s)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically require 3+ years of related experience and reach truck / equipment operating certified.

    • Additional Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 years of work experience is preferred; 6 months of McKesson experience is required for internals
  • Experience in a distribution center / warehouse / manufacturing environment with exposure to a variety of different areas within the center as this person would train others.
  • Experience and / or certification with warehouse equipment such as Forklift, Pallet Jack and Reach Truck are strongly preferred
  • Must be familiar with
  • Basic math and English reading skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
  • Strong focus on customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Must be familiar with, and able to work with, computer programs / software, automation, and RF scanners
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Behaviors aligned with the McKesson ICARE principles and values

    • Minimum Requirements (internal applicants only)

  • 6 months of experience with McKesson- MMS is required
  • Must be flexible and willing to work all shifts as business needs require and willing to work in any relevant department
  • Associates must be in good standing and meet performance standards in their current position
  • Associates must not have more than a verbal warning for attendance.
  • Associates must not have received a disciplinary action above a verbal warning within the past six months.
  • No Safety issues in the last 90 days
  • Demonstrates i2CARE and ILEAD principles

    • Physical Demands :

  • Must be comfortable working at heights
  • Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)
  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.

    Our Base Pay Range for this position

    $17.79 - $29.65
