Security Specialist

Clearance Processing Support

This position will provide full-time support on all clearance processing. Subject will need to be organized and have the ability to multitask. Data integrity support is a critical function of position. Candidate will review, assign, and monitor all processing aspects and other security-related requirements for multiple site locations. Candidate will also provide general administrative support in regards to other functions and duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include :

• Labels and stores all classified data according to the NISPOM, DOD directives, DSS requirements, and BAE Systems security manual.
• Processes employees for security clearances.
• Handles all procedures and policies regarding visitor control for BAE employees. Approves and forwards outgoing visit request authorizations and processes incoming visit requests.
• Maintains security file for all employees.
• Processes badge requests for new hires, GOV officials, and subcontractors.
• Briefs employees on FOCI and other SSA requirements per BAE Systems, Inc.
• Incorporates OPSEC into daily working activities to keep employees aware of their surroundings to include protecting proprietary information and electronic databases.
• Updates DISS / SIMS accordingly.
• Provides monthly metrics on collateral clearances.
• Maintains and updates access control system and monitors activity.
• Responsible for physical security activities for site location.

Pay Information :

Full-Time Salary Range : $66400 - $112880. Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
