Accounting Supervisor

We are recruiting for a detail oriented Accounting Supervisor to join one of Sacramento's premier organizations. This onsite position is responsible for auditing and verifying financial data, reconciling accounts and payments, maintaining databases, accounts and files and supervising a team. Salary Range : $70,000-$90,000 + annual bonus.

The qualified candidate will have at least three years of accounting experience including solid reconciliation and journal entries, intermediate to advanced technical and analytical skills, and strong knowledge of general to complex accounting procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Mentor and oversee daily operations of the team to ensure production accuracy and completion of tasks within quality and time standards.
• Subject matter expert for others to go to regarding general to complex issues including Payroll, Accounts Payable and other financial areas.
• Reconcile GL accounts including prepaids, accruals, assets, and liabilities.
• Reconcile, research, and resolve discrepancies, make corrections, document, and verify related accounts. Prepare journal entries and adjustments. Monitor deadlines and due dates.
• Produce quarter-end company consolidation.
• Assist Finance leaders with the year end audit and provide independent review of all business units financials.
• Conduct training and support the ongoing development of team members.
• Prepare spreadsheets, records, reports, and invoices on a regular schedule.
• Perform special projects as needed.
