Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School Setting
Location: Port Hueneme, CA
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Contract Length: 20 weeks (through end of school year)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (AM shift)
Setting: In-person only
Position Overview
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations, and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for students with academic and behavioral challenges. This role also includes educating, observing, assessing, and supervising behavioral service delivery in the school setting.
Minimum Requirements
Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Teaching, or related field
Preferred experience delivering behavior analytic programs in schools
Minimum 1 year pediatric experience preferred
Compliance with all professional standards of practice
Current CPR (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation
Local Pay: $85/hour
Travel Package: $3,859/week gross
Additional Details
Grade Levels: Preschool - Elementary
Sites: Up to 2-3 school sites per week
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
