Homecare RN Job Details

Location : Juneau, Alaska (Zip : 99801) – Alaska nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Home Health with occasional floating to Hospice

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : November 3, 2025 – End : February 2, 2026)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2220 - $2380 per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week (Standard schedule is 40 hours per week; 36 hours are guaranteed, with the potential to work up to 40 hours depending on patient needs and scheduling.)

Shift : 8-hour day shifts

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Mileage : Paid at government rate

On-call : Required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred)

Active State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Valid driver’s license, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation

Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in home health, hospice, or a comparable patient care setting

Hospice nursing experience preferred

Home Health RN Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes

Float to hospice care settings as needed

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care

Accurately document patient care and maintain timely records

Participate in on-call rotation as required for home health and hospice services
