Registered Nurse (RN) Clinician - Surgical Services

BJC / Saint Luke's Health is hiring a full-time RN Clinician for our

Plaza and North Surgical Services clinics. You will coordinate patient care, provide expert education, and collaborate with a surgical team. This is a day-shift role, Monday-Friday, from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., with potential for a hybrid remote work schedule after 90 days.

Role summary :

  • Function as a key member of the surgical care team, supporting both the surgeon and Medical Assistant.
  • Prioritize and manage patient communications through telephone triage.
  • Guide patients through their care journey by providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative education.
  • Ensure efficient clinic operations by scheduling surgeries and emergent patient appointments.
  • Act as a clinical resource for patient assessment, interpretation, and documentation.
  • Demonstrate adaptability by supporting Medical Assistant duties or other office functions as needed.

    Applicable Experience :

    Less than 1 year

    Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) Multi-State - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
