Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Experience with data governance tools like Azure Purview is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in managing data environments in a cloud-based infrastructure. Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to manage and optimize our Azure-based data warehouse environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Manage and optimize data storage and processing in Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Perform data cleansing and transformation using Azure Databricks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Implement data governance and security best practices.
