We are seeking a motivated and personable Inside Sales Counter Associate to join our team at Sorrento Lumber & Concrete, a locally owned and family-operated company proudly serving our community for over 80 years. The Inside Sales Counter Associate will support sales, customer service, procurement, and inventory management. This individual should be computer savvy, a team player, and willing to go above and beyond-from assisting a contractor with a large order to keeping our sales floor tidy.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers warmly and provide expert product knowledge and assistance with lumber, hardware, and building materials.
• Generate sales orders, quotes, and invoices accurately in the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Assist customers with product selection, availability, pricing, and special orders.
• Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers, contractors, and walk-in clientele.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer concerns in a professional, solution-oriented manner.
