At Intermountain Health , we are looking for a dedicated Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic team at Bear River Hospital and Logan Regional Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, focusing on the care of hospitalized adult and pediatric patients.

About the Role

As a Hospitalist APP, you will play a vital role in managing patients primarily on general medicine floors. Your expertise will help shape treatment plans and ensure optimal outcomes through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history and physical examinations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, initiating appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Utah.

Minimum of 2 years of inpatient APP experience; hospitalist or critical care setting preferred.

Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.

Working Conditions

This is a PRN position, requiring you to submit availability for at least two shifts per month. Please note that shifts are not guaranteed. You will be expected to work :
