The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking to hire a Full-time Research Assistant who will be primarily responsible for assisting in the coordination of all research activities for various clinical trials within the division of Geriatric Psychiatry. In particular, the research assistant will be responsible for coordinating submissions to the IRB, NIH, and other regulatory bodies. This position is grant funded and thus the duration of this position aligns with the grant period; accordingly, the term of this position will last from immediately upon hire until 5 / 31 / 26. Once the term ends, this position will be re-assessed based on performance and division needs.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Assisting in the coordination and implementation of assigned protocols, including accountabilities such as : organizing source documents, chart and study specific materials; ordering supplies; updating regulatory binders
• Double checking scoring and tracking biospecimens.
• Completion of regulatory submissions and amendments for the NYSPI / Advarra IRB
• Ability to communicate effectively within a large cross functional study team
• Other related duties as assigned
